A bold homepage design for a New York restaurant that was also designed by Leila and Massimo Vignelli. Unfortunately, the design really falls apart as you enter the site. Perhaps not the Vignellis’ fault, but rather that of the current caretakers.

The logo is set in ITC Didi, a Carnase/Lubalin design that was frequently used by Vignelli despite not being one of his oft-quoted five or six “allowed” typefaces.

Can anyone name all of the typefaces used in this ad?

I saw this ad while watching the olympics today. I’m not saying making a statement on the quality of the ad, but it caught the eye of myself and everyone else I was with who was watching the Olympics, so that’s a plus. I just thought it was cool how they used all of the different typefaces throughout it, (even though it lacks a little cohesion and is a little disorienting).

Can anyone name all of the typefaces they used here?

Looking for a typeface for a fictional space company.

Hi,

I have a school assignment to make a identity for a fictional tourist space company (think Virgin Galactic). I’m looking for a geometric sans that has a futuristic feel to it but also slightly agressive looking. It also needs to represent speed/advancement. Currently I am using Avenir but it doesn’t look very fast or futuristic.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for reading.
