Now in its 28th year, the annual SEGD Global Design Awards was established in 1987 to recognise the highest standards in environmental graphic design. The program illustrates the pandisciplinary nature of visual communications in the built environment and its important role in providing context, a strong sense of place, and navigational aids through complex human-made environments.Environmental graphic design is increasingly cross-disciplinary, often created by collaborative teams working to activate and organize the places where people live, work, play, gather, and learn.

Bucktown Arts Fest 2015 Poster Contest
The Bucktown Arts Fest is a non-profit, all volunteer-run, neighbourhood celebration of the arts. All proceeds from the Fest go to fund, develop and support arts education programming at Holstein Park and in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighbourhoods (Chicago, USA).Celebrating its 30th year in 2015 , the Bucktown Arts Fest has grown to become a neighborhood tradition and one of the city’s – and the country’s – premier arts festivals showcasing close to 200 participating artists, plus countless musicians, dancers, poets & performers and attracting more than 40,000 visitors annually.
ISLP International Poster Competition
Under the umbrella of the education section of the International Statistical Institute , the International Statistical Literacy Project (ISLP) is pleased to announce the International Poster Competition for 2014-2015 .The initiative aims to increase awareness of statistics among students and teachers throughout the world and to promote statistical literacy resources. The poster can be about any topic. However, the posters should reflect or illustrate usage analysis, interpretation and communication of statistics or statistical information.
There are two categories:
• students born in 1999 and younger
• students born in 1996 and younger
