The Aesthetica Art Prize is an annual award, now in its ninth year, given by the international art and culture publication Aesthetica Magazine . Distinguished by its dynamic content, merging compelling critical debate and stunning images, Aesthetica engages with all aspects of visual art and culture with a readership of over 180,000 worldwide.
The Aesthetica Art Prize is a celebration of excellence in art from across the world and offers artists the opportunity to showcase their work to wider audiences and further their involvement in the international art world. The Art Prize is committed to innovation in art and it welcomes entries from artists working in all media .
Artists may submit their work into any one of the four categories:
• Photographic & Digital Art
• Three Dimensional Design & Sculpture
• Painting & Drawing
• Video, Installation & Performance
There is no theme to the Aesthetica Art Prize . It is an open call for entries and you are welcome to submit work on any subject.
Entry is 20 GBP ( approx. 28 USD ) for one entry. You may submit up to two works in the same category per entry, unless you are submitting in the Video, Installation & Performance category, in which case you are limited to one work per entry. Eligibility Open to entrants of all ages and nationalities. Prize • Main Prize : 5,000 GBP prize money (approx. 7,200 USD)
• Student Prize : 1,000 GBP prize money (approx. 1,440 USD)
Plus, a group exhibition in York ( UK ), editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine and publication in the Aesthetica Art Prize accompanying publication.
