A condition of entry is that works must be in their completed form and not left in the conceptional phase in the form of design plans or proposals. Submissions can be something that has already been launched, or something yet-to-be unveiled.
There are four categories:
• Products :
This category includes all products made using digital fabrication tools. It includes miscellaneous goods, interior items, furniture, houses, machines, clothes, accessories, digital devices, books, musical instruments, food, and even living things, etc. Also included in this category are graphic works (advertising graphics, illustrated graphic works, etc.).
• Art :
This category includes all art works made using digital fabrication tools. Naturally, it also includes any type of artistic expression that makes use of digital fabrication tools including both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, as well as illustrations, artistic activities, performances, and live acts.
• Machines :
This category is for inventions of digital fabrication tools themselves. It includes tools such as 3D printers that model objects in a completely new way, or CNC milling machines that use materials never used before.
• Beyond :
This category is for entries that are created using digital fabrication tools and are a combination of two or more of the above categories, or creative works that are made using digital fabrication tools and exceed the existing boundaries of creative expression.
Digital technology and the power of creative will change the future of fabrication to make it greater, stronger and more interesting. YouFab Global Creative Awards promotes the activation and appreciation of the field of digital fabrication from a creative standpoint and via a global framework.
There is no entry fee . Eligibility YouFab Global Creative Awards are open to anyone worldwide. Prize • Grand Prize (1 winner)

The Award ceremony will be held on late October 2014 .
