Bauhaus fyller (snart) 100 år

Webbsajten för jubileet, bauhaus100.de, lanserades den 21 januari, och där syns även symbolen som ska fungera som en stor del av den visuella kommunikationen.

– Jubileet som hedrar en av de viktigaste designskolorna under 1900-talet kommer att bli en rikstäckande fest med en global påverkan. Det kräver en stil som är både enkel och robust, efter Bauhaus-principen om att designa framtiden. Det kommer trots allt att vara en symbol för årsdagen för en lång tid framöver, säger Andreas Weber, partner och huvuddesigner på Stan Hema.

Kommunikationen kommer också att innebära en kampanj med rubriken ”The world sees Bauhaus”, en fotoapp, hashtaggen #bauhaus100 och webbsajten.

Kuala Lumpur International Photo Awards 2016

Now in its 8th year, the Kuala Lumpur International Photo Awards continues to engage the global photographic community with the 2016 Call for Entries . KLPA remains committed to promoting international contemporary portrait photography from South East Asia and the rest of the world, by rewarding some of the top photographers in the portraiture genre.

As in previous years, it seeks fresh and innovative photography from new, emerging and established photographers from around the world. What is the perfect portrait that will make you cry, smile, laugh out loud, shock or trouble your senses? How is beauty assessed in the world of portrait photography?

Dulux Colour Awards 2016 Competition

Good design carefully nurtures the harmonious relationship between colour and form. The imaginative use of colour by architects and interior designers can redefine the spaces they create. For the last 30 years the Dulux Colour Awards has recognised inspirational thinking in the imaginative use of colour by architects and interior designers in redefining the spaces they create.

The primary reference for judging your work will be the colour board, showing the colours and finishes used on the project. The colour board should be made from lightweight artboard or corflute, be A2 ( 420mm x 594mm ) in size and landscape orientation.
