The Ecuador Poster Bienal is the new principal axis of visual communication of the new continent, focusing its efforts to be an academic, professional and creative event where anyone who is related to design and visual culture, has the opportunity to show their work and rub shoulders in an event with the best visual communicators worldwide.

In connection with the European Week for Waste Reduction programme, the STKH Sopron invites all professional and amateur cartoonists, satirical artists and graphic designers to an international illustration contest with the theme ’ Reduce it! ’ ( flatten your trash before putting it in the bin ).
Entries can be sent via post ( STKH Sopron és Térsége Kft, Sopron, Pf. 101, 9401, Hungary ) or e-mail ( palyazat@nullstkh.hu ). Cartoons sent by emails should be in JPG format ( 300 dpi ), sized at about 2500 pixels wide if in portrait format and 3500 pixels wide if in landscape format. Each participant is allowed a maximum of 3 cartoons . Previously published cartoons are not allowed for submission.
Organised by If Design Studio , Fota Ni Moj ( the Joy of Photography ) is an international photography competition now open for entries for its 3rd edition.
This year’s topic/theme is ’ Education ’.
Basic editing is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photo(s). Your entry should be submitted in color or black and white, in JPG , JPEG or TIFF format and suitable for publication. Up to 10 photos per participant.
The Bucktown Arts Fest is a non-profit, all volunteer-run, neighbourhood celebration of the arts. All proceeds from the Fest go to fund, develop and support arts education programming at Holstein Park and in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighbourhoods ( Chicago, USA ).
Celebrating its 31st year in 2016 , the Bucktown Arts Fest has grown to become a neighborhood tradition and one of the city’s – and the country’s – premier arts festivals showcasing close to 200 participating artists, plus countless musicians, dancers, poets & performers and attracting more than 40,000 visitors annually.
