Under the umbrella of the education section of the International Statistical Institute , the International Statistical Literacy Project (ISLP) is pleased to announce the International Poster Competition for 2014-2015 .The initiative aims to increase awareness of statistics among students and teachers throughout the world and to promote statistical literacy resources. The poster can be about any topic. However, the posters should reflect or illustrate usage analysis, interpretation and communication of statistics or statistical information.

There are two categories:

• students born in 1999 and younger
• students born in 1996 and younger

Founded in 2007 , the Signature Art Prize is the only award of its kind that aims to promote the work of artists in the very early stages of their careers. Drawing attention to the unique perspective of students and recent graduates, the prize champions their signature themes and aims to bring their work into the spotlight.There are four categories:

• Painting
• Sculpture
• Photography & Film
• Drawing & Printmaking

To make the process even more similar to the way Penguin’s designers work, once the judges have selected the shortlist, the Art Directors will give the shortlisted entrants feedback and further art direction on their submissions. The YCN Student Awards annualy shine a light on emerging creative excellence; and run closely alongside leading Universities, Colleges and Art & Design schools internationally. The awards are based around a collection of live creative briefs; written each year by partnering organisations.The Awards enable all those that take part to benefit from engaging with thoroughly contemporary communication challenges, and give increased confidence, visibility and employability to all those that excel within them.
