Entries for the 53rd D&AD Professional Awards have now opened. Set to reward, promote and enable brilliance in all areas of creative communication, a Yellow, White or Black Pencil remains the pinnacle in many careers.

Typography Day 2015 Poster Competition

The 2015 edition of Typography Day , organised at the Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune (India) on 7th-9th March 2015 , will feature a day of workshops on Typography and Calligraphy followed by two days of conference dedicated to ’ Typography, Sensitivity and Fineness ’.

The EcoChic Design Award 2014-15

The EcoChic Design Award is a sustainable fashion design competition challenging emerging fashion designers to create mainstream clothing with minimal textile waste.
The practical application varies among disciplines and there are various types of sustainable design. The EcoChic Design Award focuses on the following:• Zero-waste : a design technique that eliminates textile waste at the design stage.
• Up-cycling : the recycling of a material into a product of higher quality.
• Reconstruction : the process of making new clothes from previously worn outfits or preformed products.
